i have a HSP nitro buggy and i was wondering how many turns should the idle be screwed out and how many turns out the HSN and LSN should be because my manual tells me absolutely nothing.

I'm surprised that the manual doesn't tell you what the factory settings are, that doesn't speak well of the company that produces that rig.

for your idle screw, you want to set it so your carb opening is about 1 mm at full close position,

try setting your low speed needle flush to the carb body, and 3 turns out on the hspeede needle, that will be rich but might be a good start point

The settings jack_mcgill gave are average base settings for many engines, or close to it. I'd adjust the high speed to 4 turns out though. 3 is a bit light for a base setting on many of the engines I've had.

mehh ..i said 3 turn just so hes on the safe side just in case..my 18 cvrx is 2 turns on the hsn but i know for some engines that will be too lean.
