Idle screw prob????????

when i open and close my idle screw the carb barrel doesn't open or close i dont know how to fix it plz help!!!!!!!
 
Make sure your carb slide is installed correctly. I had mine out of the little track that it's supposed to run in and my idle screw didn't do anything either.
 
What engine is it? That might help us better help you....

If it has a slide carb (as opposed to a rotary carb) then you would have to remove the carb slide....inspect it to see which way it goes into the carb...and put it in correctly. There should be a notch where the idle screw sits in the slide. Line it up.
 
The very FIRST thing you need to do is make sure that the trim knob is turned all the way down on your Tx.
If hitting the brake position closes it more, that's the problem.
