could anyone identify either of these 2 and let me know what they are. I would like to get some parts to bring them back to life and it would be alot easier if I knew a brand name. Thanks

The one with the gray chassis is a Traxxas Slash 4x4. Everything on it looks to be stock other than the aluminum motor mount, nerf bars, and RPM rear bumper. Front bumper has also been cut on two sides.

The other car looks like a Redcat Racing SC Pro or something related (I'm not very familiar with Redcat models).

wow I guess you know your rc cars. I had no idea. Thanks I'll look into that. Is the Traxxas a good rc? It is alot bigger then my 1/16 scale military truck. I have a bunch of random parts and acouple of other cars about the same shape but I am taking them apart to use what I can from them. Hey thanks again it is good to know someone smart.

Traxxas is a very decent RC brand as far as I can tell. There is a 1/16th scale slash and a few different versions of the 1/10th scale slash. My short opinion on the slash, it is fast and very durable out of the box, even if you get the brushed version, but very hard to jump. Though, that's the problem with all Short Course Trucks. It also looks nice, too. Traxxas has wonderful customer support, too.

The second one is a Redcat Racing Blackout XTE monster truck which is pretty much the same as the Blackout SC except the body, rear bumper and tires/wheels.
