ideas for a track

I was just wondering if people could let me know about good things about their local track or tracks theyv used as I'm wanting to make a track in my garden (part of a farm). The ground is fairley stoney and I haven't started makeing it yet but just wanted a few ideas.
I'm not sure if this is in the right place but I didn't really know where to put the thread.
