I would rather buy a kit than a RTR package...

I want to assemble the truck myself. I am considering the Savage SS, but want to know if other manufacturers offer a truck in kit form?

If you are talking about a monster truck, as far as I know the only one that comes in kit form is the Savage SS. I love mine and that's one of the main reasons I bought the SS, I wanted to build it myself.

Yeah, I am talking about a Monster Truck. I think I'm going for the SS...

The Kyosho Mad Force also comes in kit form.

Thanks for the input.
I ordered the savage ss from tower.
Now I am learning about the electronics.
I'm budgeting about $150.
I was thinking along the lines of an Airtronics transmitter, but have some questions...
That Tx includes a Rx and 1 servo (throttle), I need an additional one for steering, correct?
Which one is good? (Hitec?)
Can anyone steer me in the direction of a good electronics setup for $150?
Robmob- I read your info on the SS kit, (I even forked over the $35 for new hardware). What electronics are you using?
Thanks,
TIM
