Thats already a Kickass Garage.

Guys, If I'm not mistaken, he said he wants something with the same engine equipment as his Savage. Well I can think of two things: The new CEN which accepts .21's without a conversion kit. Or a 1:8 scale. Those are the fastest of the fastest. If you want speed they sure wont let you down! They will go for expansive, about over a grand invested. Be prepared to dish out cash if you want the speed. The fusion is also expansive but it will cost you in the long run. On roads can be much fun but be sure you know the diffrence in driving a On-Road and an Off-Road.:hehe:You just might get :censored:!

dont be scared of an on road, whatever your choice.I'm sure youll love whatever you decide on,just be warned they are very delicate as compared to the offroad vehicles, however repairing them is much cheaper and easier to perform!!!

Well it sounds like the shagler wants to have a ride that will fit a .21 mill. I am pretty sure you can get some sort of fabrication to get it to fit.I remember seeing someones experiment on getting the t-maxx 2.5 on a ntc3. I amvoting on the ntc3 since alll the parts are available at your LHS. The RTR 3 or the SS are great bashers.. I have the RTR 3 and it was fun but I opted to get a NTC3 since I have seen the car on the local track and there are more people out there willing to help you tune right at the track. But I still agree with Team 17 that you should check out the local tracks and your LHS on their take! Good Luck. Let us know what you got!!!:breakdown

if you want something to use the same powerplants as your savage (a 21 motor) then you should look at a supernitro. they are designed for a 15 motor, but they fit a 21 very easily.

Good call Super nitro. I was stuck on 1/10 only

DO NOT GET A 4tec!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had one for a month and have never had a good running day with it, read my thread in general rc talk, then go out and get tc3, you will be glad you did!

Yeah I just had a good run with my NTC3.This car is the Bombdiggity if you know what I mean. The only good thing I heard about the 4-tec is that it is fast !!! Too bad it can't handle well on the track.

It not fast, its just geared high. Put tall gearing in any car with a mild engine and a 2spd, youll get almost the same results.

I saw the thing and it was a stock kit. Literally right out of the box at the LHS. Took it home and broke the engine in and tuned it up. The thing does haul some arse IMO but it sucked at turning!!It bounced all over the place. The RTR3 is a better car again IMO but NTC3 rocks!!!

reflex nt!! it handles superbly AND is durable. I have yet to break anything and i have had it for a year (i own three now). i've only replaced rear belt once and thats because it was the stock trinity belt.. changed it to kyosho and it shows no sign of wear at all! parts support is excellent and i think the parts are even cheaper than the ntc3's. i also hate ball diffs but thats just me. today my G4 Pro ($325!!!) should be coming in and next week it should be up and running, i'll try it with an MT12 and a SX12 MS 5 port turbo... should be fun :D and I'm going to change those crappy pulleys with the hardened reflex pulleys, etc.. ohhh i can't wait.. *drool*:w00t:

if you want 21 you could get a RS4 3 and then get a 21 for it. Wolfpack Radicals makes some special engine mounts for it and stuff i have no idea if its worth looking into. i was just plunking around on the net and found thier site. i bet it would be a pretty beastly car if the mounts accutaly fit and the weight of the 21 doesn't throw off the handling too much. the mounts are a pretty neat design http://www.wolfpackradicals.com/html/installed.html

No complaints about my 4-tec - tunes and handles like a dream. I have tuned it for handling - meaning suspension upgrades and tires, steering servo among other things. I can keep up just fine with other cars - including the TC3. I don't claim to be a great driver...because I know I'm not but anyone with decent driving skills and a car that has been paid attention to can keep up with the tc3.

I do agree though that untouched from the box a TC3 will outhandle a 4-tec.

I guess I am saying just don't discount it until you have driven it.
