That really sucks, I've run Xray and Kyosho and IMO the Xray is higher quality and drives much more predictable and smooth.

I don't see alot of Xray stuff around either. I am not really sure why. I spoke with our LHS and they told me that it was hard to get parts and that as far as the average hobby shop patron goes they are not looking to spend that kind of cash. He said 90% of the folks that come in the shop are first timers or parents looking to get their kids something cool and that they usually are not willing to drop that kind of cash all at once. They can order you an XRAY but they do not readily stock parts for them. I guess it is all about demographics. In fact my LHS doesn't stock anything "High End" on the shelf. It is too expensive to have just sitting on the shelf. All the kits are ordered on a person by person basis.

Probably the most pertinent post in this thread, by far!
Daaaaaaaamn, I was going to make someone a sweet deal on a sweet truggy but now it looks like double for you!

Sorry elton, we bamboozled this one on ya!

LOL, no Hellfires pretty much suck compared to what else is out there in their price range.

The hellfires were a HUGE FLOP! If you gonna spend some serious coin on a race ready rig go with one of the big 3. Save the headaches!

are all of these truggies because I want a truggie I know that just dont know what one to get Kyosho Inferno ST-R, Mugen MBX5T Prospec, and the Jammin CRT

from what I have heard that hpi and hb are the same company and if that is so why is the hellfire crap and the lightning not to bad, why are they not both crap what is the difference other than a couple aluminum parts

HB and hpi are under one roof for customer service and thats about it. They are still two different companies. If you want to get the hellfire go right ahead, but when you come back bitching about certain things WE WILL SAY I TOLD YOU SO!
