I'm still having trouble with it stalling. I have been running my 18ss outlaw engine that came on my MT2. I've been using 10% fuel when it says that it recomeneds that i use 16-20% fuel. would that effect much? it will stall at any givin moment, it also stalls when i hit the brake. there is a small open space in the carberator like I've been told to have it but no matter what i do it still dies. My brother said that it could be because of the nitro content in the fuel. I really need help! Any advice would be helpful.:buggy1:

I'm also having trouble with my servos. i will suddenly loose control at random. sometimes it wont even do what i want it do. it will kinda do its own thing. is there a problem with me reciever or transmitter? Everything also twiches when i put the glow plug starter or touch the tubing around the high speed needle. When these problems are fixed I'm good to go! i hope.... thanks for your help!

well i dont rele know much about this stuff just the experience with my car with the break part and nitro content my car also recommended 16-20% nitro but i broke it in with 10 and it ran fine then i switched to 20 but the break problem i had was my idle screw was closing the hole to much so pretty much cut the fuel rite off so wen i hit the break stall so i adjusted it by leaning it a lil i think and its fine now so idk if this helps but give it a try. and about ur servos is there metal to metal touching newheres b/c i heard that can cause servo glitches and stuff or ur batteries could be going?

10% fuel is harder to keep running than 20%. The extra nitro helps it idle better. A hotter plug may help if you don't have 20% fuel available.

It sounds like your tune is out of wack... quite a bit. When you hit the brakes, is there still a gap (1-2mm) down in side the carb? Or is there only a gap when it's sitting without the brake on? The gap should be there when the brakes are on. Set the HSN and LSN back to factory and make sure you have a 1-2mm gap when you look down the carb when the throttle servo is at it's home position and when the brakes are on.

The twitching of servo's is normal whenever you tough metal to a metal part on your truck. I'd re-seat your crystal in your receiver and reseat all servo/battery plugs. Are you using alkilines or a rechargable receiver pack?

there is a space when i hit the brakes which is bigger that 1-2mm but the engine still dies. we tried running it from real rich to real lean and it has not gotten any better. all i have at the moment is alkiline batteres. I have been thinking about getting rechargeables. i just want this blasted thing to work so i can have fun with it.

thanks for the help! does any body else have any suggestions?

I would recommend 20% it is the most standard and commonly used. It will help your engine a lot, and give it longer life because it wont be running as lean. You will probably notice a power jump also.

For the glitching, thats normal when you touch metal. As far as the servos I would say get some new batteries. Look online and buy a 6 volt rechargable pack and then charge it after every few runs to keep everything operating good.

Check for air leaks in the fuel lines, also you could have a clutch problem.I would start by replacing all of your fuel lines,it is a cheap and easy fix.If the change in fuel as well as the new fuel lines, check the o-ring on the fuel tank for a proper seal.It can leak necessary pressure from the pipe. After those look at the clutch also.

Good Luck,
~Scott

I've had similar issues with my MT2. I'm waiting on back ordered parts (end of the month) until I can get back to wrenching. Though I did glue the broken throttle arm back together with my tire glue, so maybe that'll hold enough for a temp fix.
