OK. I finally finished breaking in the Revo 3.3. Man this truck is sweet! The problem I am having is with the idle adjustment. Every time I turn the idle screw it has no effect on the idle. Is the opening in the carburator suppose to change with idle screw adjustment? Or is that only with LSN adjustments? I am thinking I may have adjusted the idle screw to much? I can't find in the manuel where factory settings are either. Thanks for your help.

With the engine not running pull the air filter off of the carb and look inside. You should have around a 1mm opening with the throttle closed. Turn the idle screw to the right to make the opening bigger or to the left to make it smaller....Make sure you are adjusting the right screw!

I'm not sure you got the screws down rightsmaxxin, when i turn mine to the left it gets smaller and to the right it opens the gap.
robdog try opening it till it movfes again , it happened to me that i turned too much that it wouldnt do aynything anymore, s maxxin correct if I'm wrong, if its true then my idle is screwed up lol

Also check your throttle adjustment. If your trim is off, it will keep the throttle where it's at even though you try to lower the idle via the screw. Then when you hit the brakes, the engine will die.

You'll noitic that the idel will be high if you start it up when its 60F or below. Don't adjust your idel until its warmed up.
