I drove my PCR PRO to make sure everything is in order and I forgot how much these things KICK ARSE!! I was jumping off a skate ramp maybe just a 1/4 throttle maybe and these things GLIDE in the air! I have my Picco 26 and JP2 pipe in it with stock gearing in it and I notice that it winds up real fast so I may want to get an engine with more torque. Still the thing books.
I just had to let everyone know that between 1/8 scale buggies and MT's I would be going with a buggy as they are more controllable and less prone to breaking. BUT THEY CAN BREAK.LOL

My Sirio Tmaxx is still fun but the buggy seems to be more dominant on the track.

Had to let everyone know

Jon

yea I love my buggy also but when they break the BREAK!!!! I hit a parking curb with mine and every a-arm is broke... it make me mad the I jump it in the air and it rolls away from a bad landing but hit a block and it is broke for life.

I love 1/8 buggies too, but I love to have my savage around for the rough stuff.

I love the speed and handeling of buggies, and my savage gives me the MT fix lol.

yup buggies rock. I've got my XB8, a swift (thats for sale), a Hyper 7 Pro roller on the way. but i agree with AC48, keep the savage around for beatings so the race cars are always ready on race day.

thats y i kept my hyper. i do like it. will get its fantom 21 next yr. radio sys and steering servo on the way 4 it. starter box 4 both came 2day.

Hell ya buggys rock.. I have st's mt's buggys planes and a heli..and whould never get rid of the buggy. It handles so sweet Its rare that It breaks..and when it does Its not that bad (well most of the time) LOL And it flys in the air like no other RC I've ever owned..KEEP the buggy Jon

I just may if no one bites this time. I will just have to keep it as no one wants it.

Oh well 4 more days and I am closing the thread for the last time.

I just wonder how my MBX5 will cost to drop in an engine. really want the Ofna 8 port 21.

no u dont, go get a fantom 21, thats what i'm gettin. if u wanna stay in that rough price range. cheaper rebuilds, that r actually worth it. and much less hassle. silly that u have score an OS carb 2 make those engines work 1/2 decent and day n day out

this is my bros thread keep it clean

I Love my Mugen MBX4 XR Works Buggy. Buggies are my favorite r/c's. I have the hyper 8 port in it and it books. Never had any trouble with it whatsoever. Got it with the backplate on it. Running with an Inline dynamite pipe. I got some great footage that you can find around here from the ECB Hampton Roads style. All was taken without the wing on it, And it still worked awesome! I have my baby in it, the steering servo. Which is the very pricey airtronics, with heat sink thing on the bottom. I dont know the name off the top of my head. But it was around 125. Then i have a Hitec 645mg throttle servo with aluminum dynamite servo linkage holder thing haha. I'm looking for another buggy right now for my tmaxx 2.5. I hope i get something good!

Later guys!

wasn't a shot, but a joke. sorry didnt make it more funny. oh well. further inspection of my engine 2nite showed that it was beat. and thus held mysteries the prev owner guess didnt mention (perhaps know, just a kid). good 2 see others are doin okay w/it. i just can't validate another b/c i saw the p/s prices 4 rebuilds. eeekkk. just buy a new engine.

anyways i have some stuff 4 my '7 on the way (radio sys and st servo), and a motor and pipe will b here next yr b4 spring. its been thru all full teardown and rebuild (made decision whether i'd sell or not 2 do it, wasn't goin 2 sell some1 some surprises). and i hope 2 b back out cuttin laps like i was in my videos.

boy was the buggy easier 2 drive than the SUT.

my only comparo is runnin the blackfoot and puttin the truck on the inspection table and grabbin my other AM pistol and my dad ploppin' my rc10 down and runnin the next class. nite and day.
