I got my ofna fail safe about 3 months ago and I havent needed it to work once. Before I had a failsafe, I had 3 run-aways. I guess this is a good thing. I bet if I take the thing off tommorow and bash around, Ill have a run-away strait into the curb.

Go for it and I want to see pics!:dancin:   :whack: :hypno:

Just to show you what a nice guy I am I'll take it off your hands free of charge, only providing that you pay all shipping fees. Just give it to me and you'll never have to worry about that stupid failsafe again.

tha always happens....trust me, don't take the failsafe off, you WILL have a runaway (or maybe this is just me and my horrible luck speaking)

i still have runaways with a fail safe, like the battery pack being unhooked from the on/off switch or the throttle servo crapin the bed so my truck goes WOT into the outside wall barrier.

RS43Drifter was pissed cause his failsafe wouldnt let him run because of low batteries...so he took it off and had a runaway, lol.

I saw a guy running an L3 with no lid, and no fail safe, across a parking lot.
He wanted to see how far it would go before he lost radio control.
Now i'm sure some of you are laughing already.
As soon as it did get out of range, Top speed into a curb.
It looked like a cup of screws exploded. Srews and plastic everywhere. He was lucky it flamed out.
Keep your fail safe in the car.

NooP-

Isn't that always how it goes? I learned my lesson once, and fortunately it only cost me $28 in parts. But now I run with the failsafe and a throttle return spring. I suppose if I were on a budget I'd at least go with the TRS. In 'most' cases it's all you really need - unless someone steps on your frequency and it may or may not help. I don't know, I've never had it happen.

It's like car insurance. You buy it hoping you'll never need it. And you're right. The moment you take it out, you're WOT down the street and into cement. Just say NO!!!
