I have an Rc10 Gt and wondering what other brand rims will work on it

Yeah I really like the tread design of those I have been seriously thinking of getting them, do you know if they come with the foams? And if not what would you suggest that would work well for cornering? I think I might just go with some stock Rc10 dish wheels and dye them. Thanks for all the imput guys!!

That second link I posted earlier will probably work good for you. The harder compound will allow you to drift a little also. I have a set of those on the AE 3 pc. wheels that I use to play around in parking lots and on the road in front of the house. If you plan on getting the 3pc wheels, you will have to drill the axle hole out to 3/16" for the rear wheels. they are made for T-3 and GT's with 1/4" axles but they are only 1/4" at the bearing and taper down smaller than 3/16 so they won't fit on the axles unless you drill them.

Actually, the first link will work too. I had a set of all 4 of those, and i thought those tires were pretty damn good. I ended up selling them to a friend, because he liked them just as well. I think you just got a lemon batch, because the ones i got were just fine.

Jesse they don't come with foam but for the size of the tires get the cheap white foams from AE. The tire are low profile and by the time you get all of the foam stuffed in the tire, they will be pretty stiff. LOL http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=000662472&I=LX2950&P=K
When you get back to off road tires the best foam to use is Trinity Blue or gray but they are too stiff to put in the onroad tires w/o cutting them.

Thats kinda what I was thinking too. I actually liked the tire other than the fact they looked like a 1:1 tire with bad belts. If I stand them up on a table the lean to one side like --> "\\" due to one edge being smaller than the other. :dumb:  Just decided not to send them back or worry about buying any more since I was only testing to see how well my GT and Losi would do on the road with street tires. I just think they might be a little too soft though.

Testing is another reason I like the 3 pc wheels, don't have to drop a lot of money on wheels and foam if the tires don't work. Just unbolt them and install different tires. And no hassel with glue, boiling or baking to get wheels cleaned up.

I'm thinking if I can't find some thing on ebay, I will get the HPI V-Groove Tires, I would like to get the 3 piece wheels and try out a couple different designs but money is tight and I have to settle with what ever I buy, that was another part of the reason I posted this tread :). All of you have been very helpfull now if I could just find a deal on ebay for the wheels and tires I would have it made lmao!

Welcome to the world of RC's  it doesn't take long to drop a load of money in these things. I know I dropped about $2k in under 3 months but I bought a new Losi XXX-NT Drake1, Starter box, another parts car w/ a heap of spare parts, 3 tubs of used tires for the Losi along with a bunch of new parts for 2 RC10 electrics and a GT. Oh yeah, and top of the line servo's and 2 extra OS .12 CV-R's.

Jesse, you said you have the Hex adaptors... Would you happen to have the New Era 17mm adaptors for the 1/8th scale buggy wheels? I just ordered some... Ill let ya know how they are. I got them so i could do some good high speed runs with a lower rotating mass, and the tires are super low profile...

Yes I do have the Hex adaptors, They where on my truck when I got it and it had the Hpi Rims on the back. They will work on Rustler Rims too with some slight modifications to the wheels lol, I tried it out with one of my sons wheels off his Rustler, I'm not sure who makes the adapters
