we are getting a bunch of snow right now and it is building up on the ground!!!!! This is way to early!!!! what the heck is going on here???? I guess I will get to know how the trails are in the snow with my scx10 I guess.. l.o.l. I guess there is one up side!! but only one.

NY City blew up the old record of .8" of snow in Oct with nearly double that today. We have had some flurries out here on the island, but just mostly rain and frozen rain, and the wind has been insane all day. I sure aint gonna miss this crap!

What kills me is that people live here, and have lived here their entire life.. yet the can't drive in the snow. Even better, though they don't know how to operate a car in it they still drive.

Folks in Cleveland are the same way.

I swear if it rains hard in July its no big deal but if there's the slightest amount of snow in Oct. everybody starts driving like retards... 40mph on the highway, that sort of thing. Cmon people, it's not that bad yet.

so I had the scx10 out in the snow and the mudslingers I have on it just werent performing anywhere close to what I figured, anybody out there know a good set of snow treads for my scale crawler??? scx10 a couple pics in my album, its got a lift and I run 2.2's. thanks

Without heat, water, power since saturday. I am at my work now on the pc. They expect we will be without electric till this coming friday. I can see my breath in my house. My food which I just bought has gone bad and thawed. I can't get a shower. Toilet needs emptied. I have a cockatiel, rabbit and dog that I worry about getting sick from the cold. Thanks a lot snow.

Oh man that sucks! Maybe grab a kerosene heater and try to keep it semi warm? They are fairly inexpensive to buy and run, i have one that will run off a full tank for about 8-10 hours.. they are pretty safe these days. I picked one up for 130 bucks

Usually I run a lot in the fall but thanks to the rainfall we've had, my season has been shortened a lot. I live in buffalo and I'm almost positive that the niagara river and lake Erie are not even cold yet so say hello to lake effect snow. Maybe when the weather breaks for you steelcity you can get a generator.

I have got one thing to say to you but but I know the moderators just posted a message about using this certain word and I don't want banned hahah . I just got a call that our power just came back on so that's great news for me. I still feel for the other people that don't have power. Definitely makes you think about your preparation for something like this. I was semi prepared at best. I had a few gallons of water to use for whatever. Had lots of candles, flashlights and some canned goods. I even have a propane stove that I used to cook on. Didn't have much wood though and we burned most of that in one day. Now I know what to work on getting in case this happens again.
