i finally got a nitro car...may not be a t-maxx or a savage but its nitro and it works....i got a traxxass nitro sport.....i know u guys are gonna say its crappy adn stuff but i dotn care..its nitro adn it workjs like i said earlier....but I'm kinda having some problems....when i first got it i went down to break it in and the easystart burnt out.....then we used my cousins and he accidentaly burnt out the easystart motor..so i got a pull start...and we finnally got it started adn ran but a tank and a half through it..but i stopped it to adjust the idle cause i couldnt get at it with it on..but then afterwords it wouldnt start again.....that was because the glow igniter was dead but..after we got it charged it still would not start.....i then thought maybe its flooded and took out the glow plug and it was really wet...then put in my second one and it started for about 5 seconds and dies again....adn i kept tying until i took it out again and it was wet too.and so we took it to our car and warmed it up ..that didnt work either.....i am wondering if anyof u could help me out here and maybe tell me what might be rong cause I'm running out of ideas....:w00t: :w00t:

Congrats on the Traxxas Nitro Sport.As for the constant dieing thing..I'm guessing that it might be set to rich to start.And might keep flooding itself..but other then i dont know.

well i got 2 plugs.....both work..kinda..and it only works well when i heat it up with a hair drier..other wise the compression is great i can barely move the pull start...adn KornKid i would get a savage if i had the mulah....hows bout u givin it to me??\

ya excluding a savage SS at this time and besides Tammies wants 380.00 for a savage SS thats how much MC paid for his and he paid 240.00 or something like that for the same radio I got for 200.00 and I paid 360.00 for my savage so I can rub that in his face.

Hey, I had the same problem with my Nitro Sport....it sounds liek you keep flooding it.....i only had it when i used my e-z start so i switched to a pullstart i like the pullstart alot more than the electric....but it sounds like your running it rich, you might need to lean it out......another reason i found to get it running easier was to get a glow igniter it heats the glow plug up alot quicker that the E-Z start....wel i hope yuo find that of luck to you tell me if i can help you with anymore stuff

ok i got it to run ...i had it rich cause i was breakign it in.. but we found out that it wouldnt start caus it was my the glow igniter(my cousins glow igniter). and it wouldnt hold a charge..so we had to let it charge for a few minutes adn then start it...and then i was driving ..and i let me little cousin drive it( nothing bad happend) adn then i took ot back cause he almsot drove it into this stream.but the second i got it back it just took off adn wasn't responmding..adn it then hit a tree . that was good and bad cause it stopped it but it didnt stop reving up. and then it wasn't responding to my control so we just packed up and came back to my house..adn my dad change the batteries in the transmitter and well..... thats waht happend..thay went dead. adn now its finally broken in .now the real fun begins.

ok did you read the charger.. it says charge 10-14 hrs in other words overnight , 2nd look at the light on the transmitter it flashes when the batteries are low!
