I finally made up my mind (I think)

Actually, I would never bring it across with out
claiming it. And for that matter, I still have to pay 30% more because our dollar sucks! That's what is really the expense, so there is no point in getting there. As much as I like the US, I don't know anyone over there (except for Louisiana)so I have no reason to bring it over. Are you with customs or something? Just so you know, I've heard of people ripping people off, selling stuff that's crap and lying about it. I am not one of those people. I don't like people being mean to other people and I don't believe in taking things across the border without claiming it. I think he meant he would bring it over and just mail it from Canada. I assume he would claim it.

Revo is a great choice....Very capable at almost anything given a couple of mods to keep up with a buggy on the track...Not mention unlimited CS from Traxxas and parts availiability from you LHS which is HUGE as a basher...Traxxas always has a wall of parts for their r/c's. Enjoy, I am. I will disclaim that I am a Traxxas fan too though, so I may be partially biased, but I'm honest too. No one will say that that the Revo is no good for what you want to do. RTR and out of the box its very addept to just about anything...just swap out the springs for a little stiffer ones and you'll be sailing sky-high, handling better on most tracks and cornering quite well.

I wasn't worried to be honest. I have been hanging out on this site night and day. I pretty much can tell who to talk to and who to trust. Hey, you edited that out. Not a problem, I appreciate the advice and I trust most of the lifers. Such as Jet, Plaidfish, Revo Rancher, AC48, Zandor and VB. Thanks for the advice.

Great, now I'm a lifer...I knew I should have quit this habit long ago...:dumb:

LOL...Lifer....I like that one...sounds like a jail sentence rather than a hobby......

sometimes that rings too true for some of us.....

LOL plaid We now have a life sentence.
Hugo Yes that is what I meant.I would buy it then take it to can. So it could be shipped..That would save you some money Not to mention No wait at customs.:wasted:

We don't do much in Canada except fly over it, otherwise I might be able to help ya out too! Doubt it would suvive the drop from FL 450! All kidding aside, some of the best advice is get what you have the most support available. Traxxas support is great and usually parts can be found in most LHS. BTW, it's a pricey unit and amongst the top dogs but how is Xray stuff priced up there. Being an EU (Slovakia) made vehicle not sure how your imports from there get nailed compared to something coming from the US.

Vbgagon dude....reread the post. I just couldn't remember how to spell it so I put VB. I'm glad you're only going to your room to cry, lol. No need to, I wouldn't omit you. You're as addicted as the rest of them. lmao
