Hey guys, I have a Hyper 7 PCR and was wondering what kind of power the engine makes. I've done alittle searching and have yet to find anything. Maybe you guys could shed some light.....

I have one in my Sortm and it seems to put out a very high RPM. I can do doughnuts all day long. It's a great engine, especially for the price.

Hyper 8 port = great engine for top end but it lacks the low end pow. Also beware of their pull starts, they like to break.

Yeah I heard that, WoodiE had a hell of a time with his. Broke two or three of them all while not having all together too much fuel through the overall motor. I have one that is awaiting some fuel. Has a really tight piston and sleeve hell it looks like it has not been run hardly at all.

couple of my buds run them, Yes, they sure can be a pain in the arse, take a good engine tuner to get them going. If it was me in the situation, I would Pass on this block.

WoodiE tends to pull his starter like he pulls his... Uh. I had a hyper 21 8 port and I thought it was a hell of a mill. I ran it in a Savage for a good while, then put it in a Lightning buggy and had it in my K3 for a short bit. it had good top end, and decent low end. And I never had a problem with my pull starter. Still had the original string and spring. Another member on here currently owns it (jwfiffer). For the $130 I spent on it, I think I got a hell of a motor for the price.
