Hub carrier mount issues

Hey guys! Me again!

So i finally found some rims! Should be here in a week or so.
Have another question. When I first bought my RC i got an aluminum hop up kit.
Just got around to installing the hub carriers and it turns out there are two sets of holes for the top mount.

Now my issue is they are to tall and hit my rims.
Does anyone see an issue if i die grind the top hole off so they fit?

nope that's a usual fix when a part is to tall, large whatever
