hi I'm thinking of buying a hpi savage x it has a 5.1 engine are they good whats the price you would pay for this

what about a Hpi savage 4.6 big block rc nitro truck are they good truck and can u tell me what to look out for when buying and what is the price u would pay for a 2nd hand one?
just depends on the condition and how it was taken care of and what all it comes with.
some people will pay different prices
some things are worth more to different people
are you allready looking at something if so get some pictures of everything included and post them up so we can see and make a better judgement

i got offered today a hpi savage x 3.2 it has new servos and brakes and also a bigger engine which has been looked after. i got offered this from a shop are these trucks good and do you get problems with them?

I payed 475 for my savage x 4.6f
i bought an XL with a new 454 motor yesterday for $260. also picked up a X 4.6 for $300. there dont seem to be many truck for sale on epig these days. may have to post some of my fleet!
invest in a good savage x 4.6 RTR, or a savage XL with a 5.9 i guess. its a crapshoot to buy used when ya dont know what your looking at. i got a couple piles of worthless plastic in my mailbox a time or 2
also: i was gonna sell a truck or 2 at my 'not so local' hobby shop till i found out they took 30% of the sale(there went my labor and profit). wouldnt buy a used truck there no way no how. they do have pretty good prices on new, though
