I broke the cast aluminum engine mount for my savage.

Tried to find a milled one but absolutely no luck. So I decided to design something and make it on my homebuilt CNC.

End product was beautiful.

Since I'm using a Losi 4 shoe clutch I had to move the engine back a few mm. Originally I had a plate cut from carbon fiber but noticed the layers started to separate. So while I was at it I decided to make a new engine plate for it too.

I have to say the end product is perfect. Considering I just finished building the CNC and it's not an industrial grade machine.

Sorry I bought the last 2 purple ones. 😝 Great work. I give you an "A". If you anodized it, I would give an "A+". Interested in seeing it installed.

Once i get more parts I might send them out to be anodized. Those 2 were 1 offs and I didn't want to send 2 parts out for anodizing, the cost wouldn't have been worth it. Plus I wanted to get the truck back up and running.
