HPI S 25 Won't Start

Okay so here's the deal. A long time ago, I ported my S25 using the RCCA article. Afterward I ran it a little bit before the clutch started slipping. So when I go to tear it down I find that also the rear engine plate has one of the ears cracked. So I replaced the one way, the backplate, the rotostart gears, and the entire clutch setup. I ran maybe one or two tanks through it, and put it up for sale and haven't ran it since. Now the damn thing won't start, not at all, won't even try. I also use ARO every time. Here's the checklist I've went through, if anybody has any other ideas please let me know. I'm out of ideas, and just about out of patience.Thanks

backplate sealed with high temp RTV
New glow plug
glow ignitor fully charged (and verified that it's lighting the plug)
getting fuel to the carb
Needles and carb opening set back to factory (just in case)

If you let it sit with fuel in the tank, carb ect..., the engine and carb will need tore apart and cleaned.

How long has it sat since it was last running? Try putting a few drops of fuel in the glow plug hole,put the plug in and try it. If it starts,then Matt's probably right, you need to at least clean the carb.

I dunno, a few months I suppose. I already tore the carb down to clean it, we'll see how that goes I suppose. Hopefully I can wrap it up this evening and give it another try tomorrow. Thanks guys.

Update: Well I tore the carb down and cleaned it really good. Put the needles back to the factory settings, leaned em just a bit since it's broken in, and set the idle screw back to factory. Took it outside today, and it fired on the third bump. Thanks guys, I've missed that sound.
