hpi rush evo help please???

hi i just bought a hpi rush evo very cheap but it has 1 problem it wont move. the engine runs perfect and has new clutch. the clutch engauges and spins the spur gear but the wheels wont spin unless u give it loads of revs but then only turns the wheels slow any ideas on wot the problem could be. thanks in advance

Try tightening up the slipper clutch and see if that makes a difference.

make it full tight first the nut of the spur gear just to diagnose the problem, and try again, see if the shafting is also turning together with the spur gear .

Did you get it used? And you say you have tightened the slipper clutch? If you did then you need to tear it down and inspect the diffs. That's the last place you could have your problem. Hope this helps?

just found out it needs a new diff so I've locked it untill i get a new 1
