has anybody here tried this car yet I'm really close to buying one but i would like to get an opinion of people who have used it or seen it run

Fridge I do not personally have the EVO but I have the HPI RS4 3 Type SS and I love it. It would honestly depend on what your function is going to be with it. Are you going to be trying to race with it or just bas in parking lots and stuff. Also what is your level of experience with R/C??

i got my first r/c car when i was 5 but those were electric this is my first gas car my last christmas gift was a toys r us car that hit 20 mph but it got slow after a while i mostly customize the r/c's now i just added a model hemi to one of my electric trucks i was going to buy the regular rs4 but my hobby guys warned me of the evo so thats my pick I'm going to the dragons den today or tomorrow to pick one up I'm getting the bmw m3 gt body as i like the shape of it. i also want this car do i can airbrush a beautiful set of flames upon the lamborghini murchielago body this will be a challenge for me as I'm used to airbrushing the regular way around and now inside out o yea i plan on just driving around maybe a few races i will be sure to post some infor on christmas day when I'm allowed to open the car and drive it

i love it !!! After seeing how the car performs , my cuz bought his too. Durability is what i have to say to this car! A new 1.2Hp engine/roto start/2 speed . the money i paid for it pays for itself! The only problem is with the primer gas tank. yeah its convenient but everybody knows that primer tank will leak and lead to many problems. They should just have the race tank included! if you haev air leak, gas won't fill the carb. consistently. to a newbie , he may thing its teh engine problem/tuning problem or something else. Cuz and i will order the race gas tank #72525.

You may want to pick up a new one way bearing for the engine. I hear stories of how the roto start likes to chew up one way bearings. Hey let me know how the new T-15 performs. I am totally intersted to hear how it works out. Later

i'm not really worried about this cause we have 2 roto start. So far we are still using only one for 2 cars.
I love the T-15....so far its holding pretty good and the car is running great no problems yet. i did get the race tank...boy that helps alot with the running of the engine smoothly. Ohh on totp of that i got a fantom race pipe....runs pretty strong in the straights. Even though i run the car in a pretty huge parking lot (3 soccer field), the car still has more room for extra speed.

Umm whats this RS4 3 evo? anyone have a link?I personaly have the RS4 3ss with about 1500$ deep into mods. The only stock parts are the tranny and diffs! Its a real racer, thats to risky to run in parkinglots,I need a new basher this evo sounds kool?hook up the link!

Jonser this is the link to the new evo. It is pretty much the SS kit just has the new T-15 motor and comes RTR with the roto start. It also has a two speed tranny just no adjustable camber links which if you have that much into your car than you should have the stock SS camber links laying around.

since i have to tell my opinion then i will.... this car is very kool i even take the liberty to mess with the poeple who drive at 20 mph by zooming by them with the evo LOL the t-15 engine has proven itself to be stock worthy as well as the car because i did have my first crash and it only broke the front upright set and thats for the fact that the throttle was all the way LOL i love this car

So far i've not been changing any worn out parts yet...still running perfectly and pretty durable...good stuff HPI !!!!!
