Welcome to RCTalk! Whne you say uprights are you talking about body posts? Also what is L10 and R8?
I think the casters. On my hpi, there is certain degrees you can get on the axle carries/holders and the front castor. You have left and right, the different degrees.

From what I can tell, it helps keep the car planted on certain surfaces. I never messed with them too much.

That's what I'm talking about. I have one side that is 8 and one side that is 10 will that cause too much of an issue?

Unless your doing nascar and are on an left turn oval only, I would avoid it. Shouldnt hurt too much, but I feel the car will be 2 halves not one.

If your waiting for parts to come in, thats different.

Welcome to RCT. If those are part of the steering they should definitely match. Or you will turn two different ways as far as handling goes...
