Hi guys and gals,

I've got a HPI rs4 evo 3 18SS and I think I'm having a problem with the exhaust gaskets, with the paper-ish they gave me they only last about 3 tanks of fuel before they disappear, is this meant to happen?

I scavenged a rubber gasket off an old engine that is the right size and shape but the car seems extremely slugish with it, should I go and buy the proper ones for the engine?

also I'm having a problem keeping the screws connecting the engine to the exhaust tight, can only tell me what i can use to help fix this problem?

The problem you are having with the exhaust gasket is directly related to the problem of you keeping the exhaust manifold tight. The best thing to do is get long enough screws to go through the block and completely through the manifold and put a locknut on the screw. This will fix both your problems.

wow, but should i keep the plastic one or buy the HPI ones?
