HPI Roto Start 2 Problem

So yesterday it kindve freaked out on me, my engine kept getting flooded and the fuse kept going off, but then it spun when it wasn't spinning the roto start back plate, but when I put it in, the shaft didn't even spin. I checked the one way on the mill and I think its a problem with the roto start, does anyone know why this may be? I checked with different batteries, and I don't have a drill I could use instead...

It may not have the torque it needs to turn over your mill. I have a roto-start on my sirio 27 and it won't turn it over. I have to use a drill. I used a 7.2v/1800mah nicd and a 7.2v/3600mah nimh and no luck. What kind of engine is it btw?

modded lrp .28, it has the torque to turn the engine over, its done it tons of times. I'm pretty sure its a stripped gear, I'm gonna take a look at it soon..
