HPI Nitro RS4 Mini build #2

This is going to be a fully upgraded nitro mini build with tons of carbon!

This is what I got so far

Everything is kind of temporary, for example:

-the gearbox will be completely rebuilt with new gears and the shaft micro polished
-purple washers and standoffs will be replaced with another color (thinking red maybe?)
-pulleys and mounts will be alloy
-rear brace will be carbon

Stripped it down to just the chassis in preparation for some new parts. I scored a bunch of HPI carbon graphite parts (hence the silver paint over the part number)

I took a pic with the flash on to show the carbon graphite (left) next to the stock plastic bulkhead (right)

Also got a full set of CVDs for this builds, didn’t think I’d ever find a set but sometimes you get lucky!

No belts unfortunately

I’ve been saving these, black hpi mini wheels

Put some new tamiya m chassis tires on

Most of these parts are carbon graphite apart from the suspension arms and c hubs

I’ll be honest I’m a little tired of this build, it’s been 99% frustration but regardless the mini build marches on…

I somehow did the impossible and found a NIP foam bumper for sale and snagged it

Along with some genuine hpi mini tires to replace the Tamiya M chassis tires I put on the car earlier

Got the mid shaft cleaned up for install

Put in a new front diff and belt, front diff housing and even a Kose belt tensioner

Didn’t put the small pulleys on yet because I don’t want stock ones…
