Guys

I found a 19T first gear pinion gear at a local shop, but I am not sure if it will mesh properly with the stock Spur gears?
Can someone please shed some light on this?
If I use a 19T pinion, do I also need to change the Spur, or not?

Stock gears are 18 - 47 first gear, and 22 - 43 for the second gear.

Much appreciated!

Pinion I would like to install is

Hi all, bit late to this, but I've done some calculations for you.

As you can see, different combinations are possible, but with all of them, the center - center is different to the stock, meaning you will need adjustable motor mounts.
There are other possible combos, but I didn't really see a purpose for them (like a fast first gear with a slow second gear). Depending on your need, have a look at the style of the combo to see what you want. If you try these, please comment, I'm interested to hear other people's experiences. I'm putting an OS 12 TZ which revs high, so I'll be putting the bottom combo on mine.
