Hi can anybody give me info on a hpi nitro mt cuz I'm tradin for one with my rc10gt.. shoul i keep the rc10gt or get the mt??? can u show me were to get info or were i can watch videos??? or tell me bout ur experiences with them!! i heard the front a arms break a lot and my friends got one and it seems to break a lot or maybe its just the way he uses it but idk so please give info

thanks

well i broke the front arms on mine cause at my appts where I live I run it into the curb all the time, upgraded to ALUMINUM and ran it into a tree, no problem, didn't break anything, if you want to see a vidoe of one I put one in the video forum but it only had 3 wheels cause of course we broke an a-arm (plastic) not aluminum, I don't expect them to break or bend now

i ahd 1 for about 4 months and bashed the crap out of it ,,the only thing i broke all the time was the shock towers ,honestly i can't remeber breaking a arm once ,
btw:i sucked at jumping it too lol

greenwing7: thanks.. i think ill upgrade the a arms if i get it.. the good thing is i dont have any curbs in my neighborhood and sometimes i run it in the park

racin38: thanks.. i think ill upgrade the shock towers too.. lol I'm not good at jumping with my trucks either i always break the shock towers too

wat got me was my friend wasn't hittin any jumps we were just flyin through the dirt.. well i guess that rock did have an effect on it.. ; )

its my first nitro vehicle and its pretty nice, I am in the process of upgrading to aluminum everything and hopefully putting a .21 conversion into it, as of right now I just have a slipper clutch, os cv-x, titanium turnbuckles, aluminum a-arms and aluminum front and rear arm mounts, I really like the new pins and the derilin bushings, way better than stock and really smooth

yeah.. do u kno were i can watch videos or get some specs on it????

umm i am pretty that the guys at www.slapmafro.com drive a nMT if you kinda know what they look like you can pick it out otherwish I don't know you could look in the video forum for the one that i posted when it was 3-wheelin

i saw the kid throwin his savadge around but sorry i can't sseee ur video cuz it goes up to one of those page can't be displayed

Which HPI MT you talking about?? Savages are damn near indistructable. And are the best bashers around. I had 2 rc10Gts and they bored the poop out of me. Granted I wasn't racing them and just ripping around with them, but I didnt like them at all.. Id definatly go for the MT if your more into bashing..

I have an HPI MT2 18 SS, not as tough as my savage, I dont bash the MT as hards as the savage, but only thing i have ever broken are the ball ends that the turnbuckles attach to, on my old MT1's i put titanium ball ends and RPM ball cups on to solve that.

hahaha nicee videos greenwing.. i didnt think it would actually be able to go with 3 wheels. lol

I just buoght a HPI MT2 SS kit, after LOTS of research.. I can't give an opinion yet but I hope it can handle a hit... mainly bought it for racing/fun!

anybody else have info???? i rly need it cuz i got ton of offers with the MT's but i dont kno how good they are
