I've been on this site for around a year and have never heard so much talk about the HPI MT... Whats the deal all of a sudden? Did I miss something?

Not to be a jerk or anything, seen any other Mt's? Cuz next to a Savage, or Tmaxx, Revo.. Them are pretty weak.. But to each there own I guess.. Its cool. :shrug:

I'm not interested in a bloody Savage, TMaxx or Revo besides I wanted something I can build, not just unpack a box and ride.
I don't know what you guys do with your trucks but I still 'drive' em, not bash, smash, torch or do other inhuman things with it... You do the same thing with your car?
Sure I own a Volvo and I make it rev but I don't smash it into walls: it's not MADE for it.
I'm sorry to dissappoint some people but I think an MT isn't made for that either.

I have the MT2 RTR and the only thing I've had break on it (twice) is the front C-hubs, which the screws strip out of. This is from my son doing insane jumps. I finally got a Savage for him to beat up and I'll use the MT2 for racing in the dirt and having fun. If I want to do insane stuff I'll grab the Savy from him and make him watch from the bench!

its not mad eto beat the hell out of but it sure has some get up and go I kind of think of it as a savage with 4 fewer shocks and a singlespeed transmission. Mine is getting a new front shock tower (aluminum) this afternoon

I have the RTR MT2 - but have replaced a lot of things on it that were weak (replaced before they broke)

Are you looking at the MT1, MT2 or the MT2 SS? Theres a lot of difference between the 3.

I have the old Nitro MT 1/10 truck. It was my first RC. I got it because I wanted to build from a kit and I wanted 4wd. I love this little truck even if it has only 1 speed tranny.
The nitrostar 15fe engine which mine came with seems to have lasted longer than I expected. Has a rotary carb
MT has 4wd. Rc 10 2wd -I don't know much more about the rc10 to compare
