i have 2 hpis the SS and a Supernitro . they are fast as nuts . the super is running a fantom 15 with a 2 speed and a ths pipe. and the ss is still running the SS engine (For now). they both have other hop ups, the Super really has a lot more into it then the SS , but I've had the super for a longer time. they are great parking lot cars, my ss will hang with a tc3 and the supernitro blows them away.
 
I'm not sure yet. I'm really considering an epic 18 because it is mostly just a play car.
 
As far as engines go I put a Fantom FR12 in mine and man that motor kicks some major butt
 
I agree my cousin has a RS4 and an NT and gets consist starts. Before i started a veteran bitched at me how hard those were too tune but they were dialed in nice and easy in a about two days. This has inspired me to get a on road HPI and for my next engine in ym storm...is gonna be a 25SS HPI, can we say beefy
