OK. Let's see if I can give you the short version. First, make sure the radio system is working correctly. Check your tx and rx batteries to make sure they're fresh. Turn the radio and the car on and make sure the servos are working and in the right direction. Why? Because when you start this thing you'll want control. Simple.
OK. Fuel in the tank. Check your glow ignitor and glow plug. Take the plug out of the engine and hold it by the hex with pliers. Push it into your glow ignitor and make sure it glows bright. If it does, you're good to go. Put the glow plug back in the car.
Check the needles on the engine. Make sure they're set to reasonable settings. I don't know if you found the manual for your car as we advised on your last thread. If not, I would say set your high speed needle (the long one sticking out of the carb) to about 3 turns out from seated. If it has a low speed needle, I'd start at about 3 turns on that, too just as a starting point. Also, remove the air filter and make sure the idle stop is set so the carb has about a 1mm opening when the throttle arm is closed.
Make sure the fuel line goes to the carb. And make sure the pressure line goes from the exhaust pipe to the fuel tank. Cover the tip of the exhaust and pull the starter a few times. You should see fuel going from the tank to the carb. Give it 1-2 pulls after fuel reaches the carb to prime the engine. Check the radio again. Hook up the glow ignitor. And pull. It may take a few pulls, but if all is working, it should fire up.
Then comes the task of tuning the engine. Go to
