How to remove stripped screw?

Either use specialty bits for removing stripped screws or you can also cut a line through the screw head with a dremel and then just use a flat head screw driver to remove it.

I will do that! I definitely need to swap this Raider over to hex or torx.

It's always a great idea to have a Dremel and tube full of cut off wheels. It makes it so simple to get them out with this set up.

I'm not a fan of Stainless Steel screws over the Black Oxide screws but to each his own. I'm sure theyre probably ok though.

I honestly don’t care what color it is, I just want machine screws instead of self-tapping.

Stainless screws are the shiny silver ones. Black oxide are just that, black, but they are steel. Stainless is soft, and if you don't have decent tools that get a good bite in them, they will strip like butter.

Its not about the color its about how strong the screws are
