I need to get it out to grease the friction shock.
 
Either use specialty bits for removing stripped screws or you can also cut a line through the screw head with a dremel and then just use a flat head screw driver to remove it.
I will do that! I definitely need to swap this Raider over to hex or torx.
 
I found this screw set from RCScrewZ, are their screws any good?
 
I'm not a fan of Stainless Steel screws over the Black Oxide screws but to each his own. I'm sure theyre probably ok though.
I honestly don’t care what color it is, I just want machine screws instead of self-tapping.

Stainless screws are the shiny silver ones. Black oxide are just that, black, but they are steel. Stainless is soft, and if you don't have decent tools that get a good bite in them, they will strip like butter.
