how to lessen the volts on a over charged lipo?

I have a traxxas 3s lipo it should only charge to 11.1 volts but its at 12.6 volts I'm using a traxxas charger is there any way to lessen the volts? without buying anything

11.1 volts is when each cell is at storage charge (3.7 volts per cell) and 12.6 volts is fully charged (4.2 volts per cell).

no the esc is in over charged or over voltes mode so it wont

Your battery wasn't the issue, the ESC was.

While they escs are listed as waterproof it is not recommended to run them submerged in water. They are listed as waterproof but no IPX rating is given, something can be IPX61 rated and still be labeled as waterproof.
