Important things:
1) The people!! It makes all the difference!!
2) Spare parts or an LHS close by.
3) More than one vehicle if you have them. You can let one cool down while you kick the snot out of the other.
4) Get it on video and or take pics!!!
I think having food, drink, and emergency supplies are a given.
