Hey guys, I know some of you have heard of this and maybe even tried it. But I thought I'd post a "How-To" for all to use.

It's a great trick for extending the life of your lid... and it actually works great!

See how to here:

Might have to try that some time.

Yup, GOOP all the way...i even use the lawn version, more weather and water proof....:thumbup1:

I use pretty much the same method, only I use shoe goo. The stuff is amazing, and only around $3 for a big tube if you buy it in the shoe dept. at Walmart.

Drilling the hole is key, it keeps the crack from spreading any further.

Shoe goo has saved allot of my bodies from breaking all to heck. :thumbup1:

That is a good tip drilling the hole, 22 years in this hobby and did not know that one. Guess you can teach an old dog a new trick!
