Is the lipo messed up? Can you not just solder a new connector on it? If the lipo itself is damaged then cut the connector off and soak the lipo in salt water for 2-3 weeks and it should be safe to dispose of at that point.

I will probably use alligator clips and use a printed divider to safely connect it to a 12v lightbulb or brushed motor. The LiPo is fine, the voltage is at about 3.3 volts since I ran it hard yesterday.
I cut the connectors off. Then I put it in a container of water with a bit of salt outside somewhere and leave it for a few days. It discharges through the water. Once it is done reacting I pitch the whole thing.
