Wondering if anyone has a good way of breaking Loctite grip. I use medium strength, and it sometimes won't let go. Right now I have some on my titanium pivot balls attached to my aluminum A-Arms that won't let go...I have stripped two allen heads in the pivot balls thus far...

Also, try not to put the heat directly on the screw. Instead, try to heat mostly the part the screw is stuck in.

A hot soldering iron applied directly to the stuck screw works a treat. Heat it, let it cool, then go at it with the driver. Most times the screw will spin right out.

For most metal <-> metal joints I generally use wood glue. This applies to both to my planes and my T-Maxx. Plenty of grip, doesn't loosen once set and you don't have to destroy the parts in order to seperate them later.

Loctite is only necessary for heat-stressed joints.

like what was already stated a butane torch will work wonders. When you put the bolts back in try not to put so much loc-tite on you onyly need a small drop.

Depending if what your screwing into is aluminum or not, you may want to get a tap and run it in and out just to clean the threads before putting it back together. I've been doing this lately and it seems to hold better than just putting more loctite on and putting it together.

just a little reminder, a little thread lock goes a long way. i put a small drop on a screw and thats enough.

later
