On a full tank, how long can you run your rs4 with a stock engine for? Mine last for like 10 mins...is this right?

Also, how do you know if your engine need tuning or not? any sign or signal that might indicate it.

This is a perfect time to try the search function up on the top right. There is alot of good info ya can find there and will answer 90% of questions you may have.

I get about 10-15 mins. of run time with my .25 big block.

Also signs of needing to be tuned is just improper running. If its bogging, or kills, chances are its not tuned right. Also if it kills and wont start for a while, chances are its overheated and needs to be tuned better.

It depends on engine, tune and pipe. I have a Mugen X12 that will drink fuel like a camel after 2 weeks without water. No matter how it's tuned (even at optimum) it will barely make 5 minutes on a standard length of fuel and 75cc tank. I had to put a foot of fuel tubing to make 6 minutes.

My Maxpower .12 3port Massimo Fantini tuned engine will last over 7 minutes with no problem. My Novarossi NS12S3A1 will do over 8. All of these are with race conditions since I do race my car.

The pipe will also afect fuel consumption. Conical pipes provide the best power band but also have a tendency to affect fuel economy as well.

I would think that in a parking lot situation, I would tune differently and get different results but as a general rule of thumb, you should expect at least 6 minutes from an average .12 engine when racing and maybe a little more in the parking lot. As I said, it depends on tune and your trigger finger as well.

my motor needs to be tuned every day acording to the whether caus when i bought the damn car no one told me that so its my first time I'm driving the motot in and as soon as i thought the motor were reday for some kick ass i blow the piston and sleave

now I'm running it with a abc piston , threaded crank , and a GS-900084.21/25 tuned exhaust

and now the feul's lasting ma up to 8 mins of hard driving

yup

I have a rs4 evo and I'm running a os .18 engine with racing clutch and poop and i can get atleast for 5 mins but i dont let me engine heat up bc i dont want it to break but for you stock witha 15 maybe like 10 mins

Just saying this so you can compare.
Novarossi JP modified 5 port turbo .12 in a Kyosho V-one RRR, 5 1/2 minutes in race conditions.
