I have a IMAX b6 charger an I'm tryn to charge a 2cell lipo battery how many amps do I put ??

Divide the mah rating by 1000 and that how many amps.

My charger is saying battery check low voltage, what does that mean?

UMM low voltage status on a charger "never got that on my charger yet" look in your manual of the charger & see what it say's... Also make shure you have plugs properley hooked up & make shure your balance charging as well...

if the battery sat to long and the voltage dropped to low that could be the problem

when was the battery charged last?

how many volts are in the battery?

do you have something like this to check the cells?

Not sure the last time itwas charged just got if off craigslist,it's saying 2.5,

2.5 for the whole pack or 2.5V per cell? if its 2.5V/C then if you charge it on like .5A in NiMH mode for about 5-10 minutes and then it should be high enough to charge. if the whole pack is only reading 2.5 then you can try what I descibed above but its probably trashed.
