How do you know when your disc is bad for your breaks? (Yeah I know, when it quits breaking) but I still have the stock setup and have been doing some winter upgrades and came across it and was just curious. The last time I drove it the breaks seemed to work just as good as when I got it (I honestly dont use breaks that often, as weird as it sounds). Granted I dont want to spend any dough I dont HAVE to, but will if necassary. Anyway heres some pics, you be the judge. (Sorry for the pic quality)

unless its really hacked up it should be ok. just take it off, clean it up, and maby rough up the disk face to get rid of any glazing. i dont think you should have to replace it.

I searched on ebay long enough to find a dual disk setup shipped for $15.00.

OMFG. Even if I just breathe on the brake at WOT I can do a front flip. Its amazing how much breaking power I now have.

Just check the screws that hold the brake pads in place, check the brake disk hub is not worn. Check your disk that its not glazed. If all that is good your fine.

its a lil glazed, but theres no chunks or anything.. Also seems to just float around in there. Is that normal or am I missing yet another screw?

i have stock brakes on my savy, and a hitec 645 servo with 6v hump pack. and i can do front flips to. the pad should be good, just deglaze it. and the only two screws are in the pads.
