Ok here in my town a couple weeks ago a little boy (3 years old) was hit and killed by a drunk driver on a jet ski. He was in about 3 feet of water and the guy didn't see him. Thats not the point of the story though. My fionce knows the family. She made up a bunch of donation boxes for the little boy with a explanation and picture on the front. She put one at her work (motel 6) and it was getting pretty full. She couldn't empty it because it was paper sealed so they would know if someone got into it. Like who would steal something like that anyway right? Money to help a family in the time of need for a innocent 3 year old boy.... Well some low down pile of poop decided he/she needed it more and took it. I would guess there was at least a couple hundred dollars in it. Made me think wow what kind of butthead would do that. I can't believe people. I REALLY wish I knew who did it. Actually I don't because I might end up in jail if I did.... Just thought I would share with you my wonderful experience of the world we live in now days. My fionce and everyone she works with was shocked she feels some what responsible because she didn't empty it.

Sadly, it happens all of the time. No one really pays attention to crimes untill it happens to them. Take it from me, its everywhere, even if you dont see it. All you can do is learn from mistakes, (none here) and move on and try again.

People have broken into our church twice in the last 3 months and stolen the cash out of the donation box for the holy candles. Its really sad what some people will do to get a fix. I can't imagine having (or not having) the heart to steal from a family like that or from a church. I wouldn't even smoke a joint that was rolled with bible paper back when I used to smoke a lot, I can't imagine stealing from a charity or a church.

can't say i ever came across that one... Flavored blunt wraps is about it lol.

It's amazing how people stoop down so low and steal from a family in need.

Yep, this crap has happened over here too. This world some times seems to be regressing back to self serving barbarism.

one of my buddys (ex buddy now) did that at the subway. he snatched some out of the jar while they weren't looking then was bragging about it. I took him back up there and made him give it back lol.

Its pure and simple some assholes just don't care about anyone or anything. They don't wanna work for anything and will take what they can when they can. They are the kind of people that if they were on fire I wouldn't piss on them to put them out.

On another note about 15 miles north of me we have a case where a three teens (18, 16, and 17) beat a illegal immigrant to death. Now people in the community support these kids. They say if the guys wouldn't have been here illegally it never would have happen and they don't think they should be tried as adults because there goes there starting football line. I am not a supporter of illegal immigrants but no matter how you look at it we are still talking about a human being. nobody deserves that to beat to death. These boys attacked him in a alley and beat him to death and people think its ok. Secondly how the fiddlesticks can you tell if they are illegal just by looking at them, its getting to the point where someone see's a Mexican and right away assumes they are illegal. What did they ask him hey do you have a green card and he said no I am illegal doubt it, what would have been the outcome if they found out later he was a legal. My wife and son are permanent residents (yes they have green cards) they are German. This is the Moral decay of America and I for one am ashamed.

I agree, crap like that can be pinned directly on their parents as far as I'm concerned. I'm with you, I don't like illegal aliens either, but I don't think they deserve to be beaten to death just cause they slipped into the country. I say try them as adults and throw their asses in prison... along with their parents too.......well, you said one of them was 18, he can go to jail by himself, after all, he is technically an 'adult' now.

there are some sorry SOBs out there, it hurts my heart to think what my 2yo will see when hes my age if there are no changes in the world.

straight up i did that once cuz i was desperate to burn one and i got sick about 5 minutes after that and stayed sick for over a week, like bad sick....so i learned a lesson right there.
and it is horrible that people would steal something thats gonna be helping someone out but thats the world we live in.

Not exactly the same thing but i spent over a $100 on some really nice flower arrangements to put on my grandmother and uncles head stones and they got stolen over the first night of sitting out there.

You know what really pisses me off. A person can get busted with dop and easily serve a 10 to 20 year sentence right now. But you can get drunk and runover a kid on a bicycle or beat an illegal immigrant to death and get away with it because there's two sides of the law.

I love how some rich corporate schmucks can steal 500,000 from their stockholders and get away with it as long as they pay it back. But let a guy steal $50 out of a cash register to support a habit and he's going to do serious time. You think that dopehead from the hood wouldn't give the $50 back to avoid prison?

I'm serving a 12 year suspended sentence because I got arrested at a friends house where there was dope in the house, just because the justice system is trying to make a point. Let me get one thing straight, I know that what I did was wrong, and I'm not saying that I didn't deserve the sentence. I took responsibility for what I've done, and I changed my life. I'm' serving a suspended sentence on probation because the judge said that he's never seen someone truly make a complete change of his/her life the way I did, and in his eyes I didn't need to be in prison. I've got three years clean and sober and I don't walk across the road unless the sign says "walk" now. What I am saying is this: Those boys killed a person, and to me an illegal immigrant is just as much a human being as I am, and I don't think it should be looked at any different than if someone killed a citizen or a president, a life is a life. There is a serious problem when you can kill a guy and get away with it, or steal from people that are trying to help someone in desperate need, because of who your parents are or what your roll on a football team is. I think the parents of the boys can take some responsibility, and I also think that the justice system is responsible for establishing this system that we have of two justice systems, one for the regular and one for the elite.

congrats on the 3 years Charlie ... i am working on number 11 and i have to say that it gets easier with time.

this world we live in sucks, one more reason that i pretty much keep to myself nowadays.

well stated charlie, and congrats on being sober for 3 years!!! i have been for alittle over a year now myself and i love it!!! speaking of being busted though, i got 2 counts of assualt and battery in a county about 2 hours from me, any ways i even plead guilt in court and the judge dismissed the entire case based on "lack of evidence" wich was a huge sigh of relief on my behalf, but i must say court can help u out sometimes.

Man, people these days. After my father resently passed away, we stayed at my moms sisters place for a couple days, and when we came home, all of our cars, quads and bikes had been siphoned dry. Not a drop of gas in them. All of our tractors and combines were siphoned dry and there was a note in the combine. I'm not going to say what it said, but you can imagine it was not very nice. The local police officer (a friend) actually got sombody out to test the siphon for saliva, and found no DNA I think because of the gas. But who would do that? Who would steal a few dollars in gas and diesel from a greiving family? Not good people thats for sure. Of course there were good people to replace it, but sombody still stole it.

you know guys ... its sad to say when i think about it, but NONE of this surprises me. the world we live in is just that f*ck*d up. i wish there was something that i could do to help you guys out, but right now i think everyone is hurting in the wallet.

Brandon ... did you ever try posting here and asking for help for the little boy ?? there are a lot of good people here that i am sure would do what they could to help out.

Flandersander ... that just sucks. it happenes to our work trucks all the time. we leave them at the shop with a full tank and the next morning they are empty. we are going to install cameras if it happens again ... and i know it will.

No I didnt want to do that here. The family has got a lot of help locally but its just the fact that people are assholes.
