How big of a motor can you fit on a tmaxx???

Whats up everyone??I got a t maxx 3.3 4908 model I've been doing alot of up grades to it before I get a bigger motor!!I was thinking about getting the red dot picco .26 but I was wondering is there a bigger motor that will fit and that is as good as the red dot or even better???

I believe a .26 is the largest displacement you can find to drop right in a TMaxx. However those particular engines are designed for that specific purpose. Not all .21s or .26s will fit without a conversion. Good .18 size engines are very popular in Maxxes because they don't eat transmissions and other drivetrain parts.

I'm in the process of putting a .28 in mine. So far so good. Ill be mocking up the tranny in a couple days as soon as my ordered parts are here. I've been taking a lot of pics to show the progress
