nope holes arent the same.... woulndn't require too much cutting to get them to fit and you can use the indentations just extend/enlarge them wouldn't look too bad I'll try it on mine.... I do agree on the bigger tires thing stock ones are too small u will know when u see it what I mean kk but they look alot better than t-maxx tires+wheels on it..

well no duh tmaxx tires and wheels are even samller. Maybe big joes

If you haven't gotten the HB tires yet, give a look at the IMEX JumboMaxx tires. I run a set on my Savage and they are huge. Not the same huge as the HB tires, but huge none-the-less. WoodiE did a review of the IMEX tires for the site.

I run the JumboMaxx ClawDawgz (chevron pattern similar to Maxx Mashers). The tires are about an inch to an inch and a half wider than stock T-Maxx tires. Might be just what you are looking for.

Here take a look:

Nice pic. I just ordered a set of those exact tires. I like how the tread wraps around the the sidewall. I just started running with new Big Joe's so I really didn't need these but I haven't bought anything new for my Savage in a whole week! What can I say, I'm totally addicted. Now I'm looking for a set of nice aluminum bead-lock rims....m u s t.....b u y........n e w............p a r t s.........

well I'm new to this sight but i've kinda been around with the hobbie on the low end of the spectrum. I have a savage 25 and got the truckzilla kit and the hotbodies wheels lasted 1 tank and all 4 tires have stress cracks and one of them broke and the hex nut on the axle. these were the 7" tires.

There is such a thing as too big. These IMEX tires have yet to break a thing. AND I have done quite a bit with them.

the tires arn't the problem its the design of the wheel it's to much plastic and not enough tire I had a usa-1 nitro with the ballon tires and i bashed that truck in to every thing i could think of. I flipped it run it in to stop signs hit walls wot and never broke one single part. why don't thay make em like that any more

True. There is no substitute for quality, both in design and materials. RPM makes some quality products. They back there products with a no questions asked return for same part guarantee...IF you manage to break one. I shredded one of their Monster Claw rims, and got two back for my troubles.

Sometimes you get what you pay for...others, well...you just don't. I personally think those HB 7 inch wheels are just a bit too big for a standard size Savage. Two inch extended chassis with a bigger engine and better tranny might make the wheels worth something. All I know is that everyone that I know who has them doesn't use them for long (not many people, but still a sampling).

I still recommend the IMEX JumboMaxx rims and tires. Have not had any problems with either. No stress fractures anywhere. Lots of rotational mass to help get those flips around with very little air...of course the same can be accomplished with huge air and a set of T-Maxx rims mounted with Savage tires...heck I'm gonna try some flips with this new set of aluminum rims I have to test. =devil
