Are these tires any good for the price has anybody heard anything bad or good. Iam thinking of getting them when I get my savage.

Those are the UFOs!!! Those things r huge...have you seen them in person....they are almost a full inch taller than the stock savage tires.

I dont know man...just just look toooo big. Prolly kill your performance as well...unless you have a serious engine.

I have them for my savage.... good if you are running a bigger block though... good for off road use.. but you do have to upgrade your stearing servo as well... covers more ground and more stable than stock... good with a 52T 14T/13T combo.. gives more top end... jumps and landings are awsome.. but if you are running a 21bb.. i would recommend it... pretty weak for it

hmm well th only reason I wanted them is because they looked cool so never mind then if they are gonna zap my performance.

it completes the truck... i've always thought the stock ones are too small... you don't have to upgrade your stearing servo...but then again I would do it anyways even if you are running stock

looks awsome! can you think of any other tires that are good but wont zap my performance. Iam suprised that those tires would bog down a .25 you can't really get much bigger than that.

well look at it this way... bigger the tire, more power you have to deliever to the ground but you cover more ground. Bigger the wheel, higher top end. So to fix that change your Spur Gear Clutch bell combo... I went to a 52T/13T. Plus I am running a WASP 26.... off road use is awsome. My buddy has the same set up but running on stock tires and a 52T/18T and i kill him.

Smaller the tire less power delieverd to the ground but more revolutions to catch up with the bigger tire so actually more power delievered... little low top end

if you go with the UFO's, just change your clutch bell to a 14T or 13T with a 52T spur gear.. RRP makes a metal spur gear in 52T. 52T is the best gear for either top end or low end..

torque power & combination is the key

nice looking truck TRDStreetFighter i was looking at the same wheels for my savage, when i finally get it,,....lol

Well I dont plan on buying a new engine right off the bat. But the ss comes with those tooth gears right (thats what iam planing on getting is the ss) well what about these?

Got cool wheels and that thread I like really the only reason I liked the UFO's is because they way they looked and these arent bad.

well if you have a S-25 engine you are fine... I just don't recommend them for the 21bb... 21bb can get them just that i would go with a 48T/13T combo then...

ohh ok cool. Does that gearing come with the ss?

i still keep my stock ones.. just that the bigg ones prevent you from rolling over on turns and you can gun it on turns with a higher ground clearance... stock ones I have to lower my ground clearence which I really don't wanna do but good if your are racing..

I was planning on also getting some Big Foot type tires like for the Kyosho Mad Force, Earth quiake, etc... some of the trucks that run on TXT-1 wheels and tires use a .15 size motor and pull mad wheelies..

ya chevron tread the classic monster truck tire.

when you get these HB tires they recommend you using an extended chasis... i don't have them... so far they work out for me.. you'll notice a difference in your stearing radius.. but with these tires you can drift or whip it around... tell you the truth i got these when I got my savage.. ran with them first.. then I put the stock ones on and I kept rolling over... I use to the HB...

Ya well thats what I plan on doing is going to get my savage getting it getting the tires and wheels and maybe some other stuff and just put it on when iam assembling it. I keep on adding on stuff to my wish list on tower for my savage dang I can't stop!

Would the T-maxx bodies fit directly on the savage I mean match up with the holes like tank and heat sink?

i dunno.. are you getting a pre painted body??? if not you can always make your own.. i know the antenna hole are not the same... but any body can fit

iam thinking of one of those atomik bodies. because It has a indentation for the heat sink and the tank it looks like it might fit iam not sure.

well i've been looking at new Savage bodies and they save on the HPI package for or will fit "Savage 21/25/SS, T-MAXX/E-Maxx" so i guess so???

Ya well ill have to ask MC he just got one and he has a atomik body so ill ask him. DANG he just got a savage and now I want one even MORE!!
