Well, i'm sure traxxas and OS are.

Life sucks, deal with it and move on.

It's just the last time i remember crying is all. Probably would have been easier to make something up. Less tramatic.

I was thinking maybe they'd think you'd catch yourself on fire again from the nitro and still keep buying parts and fuel because you liked fire.

WOW WOW AND WOW that sux i burned my whole leg once i was rididng a 4 wheeler and it was a banshee (racing 4 wheeler very fast) and i hit a dirt bump and didnt see it or wasn't expecting it and my leg flew off the peg and went under the tire and it had mud slinging tires so it had extra thread on them and it just stoped and was burning out on my leg they though i would never walk the same again and my leg would look deformed but i had my leg wraped for 4 months and the skin came off good (ewwww i know) and lookid just fine except on my foot it haves a burn mark on it and i walk with a little little limp and thats all had 1st 2nd and 3rd degree burns it sucked and it happend when i was 13 I'm 16 now so I'm straight now now I'm into more safer things like r/c only thing r/c trucks can do to you is take your legs out from under you if you run ito yourself haha.:marshall:

I've had a few bad run ins with motorcycles as well. I've owned 4. All motocross style. My worst event with that was driving of a hairpin at 60mph. I was watching the river as I went over the bridge. Completely spaced out the fact that there was a 90degree turn about 100 feet off the end of the bridge.

That one damn near killed me. Had a good burn on me from the exhaust pipe laying on my calf while I was lieing there unconsious for 20 min.

Stupid river.

haha yea when i was like 10 i had a cr 80 i was driving in a trail and i was lookin at a guy jumping this huge jump and i just ran right into a tree i hurt my nuts real real bad now that sucked haha

Maxx Initial Hop-ups

After I got my Maxx, it wasn't long before I decided a roll cage was in order. I tried the FullForce roll bar, but it was junk. It only mounts at two points - obviously bad design. A friend uses a New Era 3-point roll bar. I picked one up myself, and never looked back.

So if you're looking to protect the engine and reduce the strain your towers put up with, I highly suggest you pick one up.

Keep your money until you break something.... "like a arm or something" Then use ur money to upgrade it. Or you can buy nitro with that money. Use it wisely man , I've learned the hard way that 100$ goes really fast if you put ur mind in Rc Car Action:egad: lol

Save $$$

I just got my new T-Max 2.5 and I agree - save your money!!! What you purchased was good especially the temp gauge.

The first things I installed were:

Fuel filters (2) 1 from tank to carb and 1 from exhaust to tank
Rpm 3pc skid plates
Rpm Bulkhead braces front and rear
Duratrax aluminum servo steering cover
Ofna FailSafe (THIS IS A MUST!)

The stock air filter is OK! for now maybe get the MotorSaver later when you want to start adding hopups for speed and power!

Good luck and be safe!

One thing is for sure! If you stay in this hobbie and I hope you do as it is a blast you, will be buying upgrades for your Maxx! El Pirata is right about having a plan! I did the add this add that thing on my first Maxx and now I have 1000's of $ in parts just sitting in a box in the attic. On my second Maxx I had a "Plan". I took all the stock parts that I was not going to use and sold them on Ebay which was just about everything! Then did my .21 conversion and drivetrain upgrades. It ended up costing a lot less then the first one and was what I wanted!
