Are you saying he sent the part for free but didnt spend enough of his own money on an envelope or insurance?

hey joe let me get this stright.....you came looking for free stuff and now your complaining about the package the free part came in and the person that took the time to send it to you??

and now you want someone else to send you another one?? ...so joe what free parts do you have laying around for other members?

I have one you can have.
I will send you my address and you can send me whatever packaging you would like it sent back to you in, including the postage it will use.

For one asking for parts for free is a joke!
If Imbroken sent you parts you should be thankful he did so.He is a great guy.
but you I won't get in to what I really want to say right now..

quick and easy fix for that ball stub then you can do it for free,
drill the hole out a little and bend the original arm from the linkage to fit into the hole and kink the end alittle so it doesn't pop out ,then it does away with ball stud ,
did it and worked great ,just need to improvise alittle

BTW:please do not bash a nice guy for sending you a part you needed
and use the cough cough crap ,just because the post office was at fault for not handleing things correctly ,
he was nice enough to give you the part and i also bet you didnt even give IMB a positive feedback for being a very nice guy

According to joe44, it seems that the standard white envelope I sent it in was destroyed by the Post Office somehow.. I taped it to a blank piece of paper, folded it up, and placed it in an envelope. I dont know how it could have come out... Oh well...

not your fault bud ,,,
you went out of your way to help an ungrateful person out and then he bashes you for it ,
thats B/S
sorry just pisses me off

Cough* cough* "jerkoff" cough* cough*

Hay ImBroken,
I truly appreciate you sending me the parts at no charge. You a hell of a guy!
The Post office had a field day with the envelope and the parts were missing by the time it got to me.

I'm wondering if anyone else may have one. If so, Le me know what you want for them.

Thanks,
Mr. I'm a Thankless Jerkoff.

TJ,
Speaking of mailing things, Joe sent me your shelf queen to tune up and test. I got it in the mail today. Ill put it into a white envelope taped to a card and have it back to you for the big event.

Hi Joe, you should be thankful that the nice guy >> ImBroken willing to send you the parts for free. Maybe the white envelope was destroyed when going through the post office scanning machine.

I was told by my local post office, if you do not want the package to go into machine, you need to pay $0.12 for not machinable fees. I was surprised too. Always use bubble envelope and pay for the $0.12 fees and they will arrive in one piece. LOL

But since, it is free. You can't complaint about it.

Imbroken. That goldfish you mailed me wasn't in the envelope when it got to me.
Just a wet envelope.
The post office said to ask for another one from you.
Next time spend more money and box it up.
Ship UPS.

++ PLus battery operated air pump and a few layer on trash bag to keep the moisture in. That thing going to over 20 lbs.

Dude whats your deal? Imbroken went out of his way for you!! And you complain about it, good luck on someone sending you another one.

Imbroken thanks for being such a cool guy, and sending some one free parts, there are many members who will do that. Which have also helped me out, you guys have made me see there is still people out there who will help someone out :)

Now where is the BEER! :wasted:

Hey Joe, Ill send ya a one. I will also be sure to put it in a box full of dog poop for safe shipment....butthead.. Imborken is one of the nicest guys and for you to come on here and bash him for sending you a FREE part, your showing your true colors... poop stain brown...

Thanks Ed, be sure to pay the extra .12cents though.... lol

Go easy guys... I dont "think" he meant it to be a bash... I didn't think it would be a problem putting it in a regular envelope.. Learn something new everyday...
I do, very much appreciate, the backup though.. Like having an extended family... You guys rock...

ImBroken - I've had the same problem with the post office. I sent VBgagnon a Dubro airplane fuel filler valve a while back, I wrapped it in a little bit of foam and put it in a normal envelope. He got the envelope but no contents except a cheesy note from the post office. It seems as though they will confiscate anything if they don't know what it is or it's packaged funny. i guess envelopes and made for paper and nothing more. Guess if we want to send something with more than 2 dimensions it needs to go in a box.... how nice... $1.99 box and a $1.00 postage for the box, all to send a free part worth 46 cents. :nono: I guess that's supposed to make me feel safer in my homeland.
