Hop-ups for the Associated 18b

Hey guys- I just picked up a used 18b RTR pretty much bone stock. I don't know much about the electric rigs, so I thought some of you guys could steer me in the right direction as far as performance upgrades. I need to know some of the lingo so I know what I'm buying. I basically want to double the speed. Fire away!

before you double the speed, triple your drivetrain strength. MIP cvd's and super diffs are my recomendations.

My gut tells me...

...that's a good move. On my nitro car, I'm getting as much joy out of chassis and suspension upgrades as I would out of more power simply because it doesn't melt down on me constantly. Are there battery upgrades that will still work with the brushless systems?

You can either run a 2s or a 3s lipo with the CC Micro sidewinder. itll give you more wheel speed and way longer run times.
