One thing to watch on the 7.5 sport are the diffs. the ring and pinion are made of a soft metal and the diffs only have 2 spider gears inside them. They will strip eventually and its not cheap to upgrade to the standard 7.5 hardened steel ring and pinions. you would need 2 of part # IF106 and 2 of IF021 and 2 IF102 sets and a shim set to upgrade to the 4 gear diffs.

anyone else have experience with mounting the RG-X in a 7.5?

I've got everything but it doesn't seem to sit correctly

I've installed the washers(spacers) that the engine came with to allow for the clearance of the pullstarter, but it looks as if it's not enough; the engine mount spacers usedto mount the engine to the chassis is still hitting the back of the crankcase where teh pullstarter is, and the engine tips forward, so it's not sitting perfectly paralell to the chassis, and the flywheel rubs against the brake assembly;; any way around this?
