hooking up RX

I just bought a used Nomadio React and can't get the damn thing to work with my truck. I can't even get the RX to power up. the transmitter seems to work fine, but its just a paperweight without the RX. can anybody help?

Is everything plugged in? If it has a switch, is it set to on?

well, i found the answer. I had the battery plugged into the BATT. slot. who knew it went into the POWER slot? so much for comon sense.

but now i can't get the throttle to work... steering works just fine.

ok, i think I've got everything figured out for now. stupid previous owner had really screwy settings. makes me wonder how he raced at all! or maybe he was just messing with me.......the jack@&#
