Well the only scope mount available for my GSG ak-.22 is $80! So I decided to improvise instead...lol

Used a mount I already had, drilled and tapped 3mm (2) screws (used nuts too) and viola. Put 500 rounds through it at 50 and 75 yards and its stayed dead on so I dont see it ever being a problem...

Also can still use the original sites.

Agreed. Nice work!

No offense, but that looks terrible. Just send it over here to me and I'll put it out of it's misery, slowly, over the next 40 or 50 thousand rounds. :) Nice work, I can't believe they want $80 for a scope mount for a .22

Thanks ladies. :D

And here I was getting excited to see new uses for hose clamps and duct tape. lol Looks great job.

Thanks guys.....and sorry hamz, this isnt a faart thread :hehe:

Its polymer.

Cool. Thought so, just couldnt be sure. I test fired a bushmaster ar-15 in polymer, it felt like a toy in my hands. Thought i was gona break it if i dropped it. lol.

The M&P 15-22 from Smith & Wesson weighs about a pound less that this one, although it has alot more ad on options, it felt way less stable in the store than this one. It was the one I went in to buy but got this one instead.

Shwew thats a doozy of a setup! Looks like somethin you buy off the CoD Black Ops game indeed! Nice job
